Ekskäret, Soulmaking and Cosmopoesis

Dear friends,

I’m writing from the beautiful Ekskäret island where I’m attending my second Elevate co-created gathering. These updates may be a bit shorter from now on as I’ve also started posting on Substack Notes.

What I’ve been up to

• I co-facilitated Futurecraft @ Feÿtopia, which went extremely well!

An extraordinarily well-designed experience with so much more than I could have imagined or hoped for. It took many of the experiences I’d had before and strung them together into a cohesive story that we were all able to play a part in… This was an experience above and beyond my expectations.

• I travelled to Finland for the first time to attend a Soulmaking Dharma retreat with Catherine McGee & Juha Penttilä, and got to hang out in Helsinki where I discovered Oodi Library, Mothership of Work and Löyly

• I spent a bunch more time at Emerge Lakefront (check out the new website where you can apply to stay for between 3 months – 3 years, or join the next co-working/connection day on Fri 25th April)

• Dandelion crossed £4m in tickets sold and growth is accelerating. List your next event there

• Jag läste svenska i 8 veckor och kom upp till B2-nivå

Plans for the future

• The rest of the month– A trip to Japan with Laura: Tokyo, Okinawa, Kyoto, Komoro or Kamakura (introductions/recommendations welcome!)

• A retreat with Daniel Odier at Ängsbacka, May

Probably:

• The summer Elevate, 1-8 June

• The ÖTILLÖ swimruns on Utö, 7 June & Åland, 9 Aug

• BREADcon on post-capitalist web3, Berlin, 20-23 June (details soon)

• The Borderland, 21-27 July and a decompression at Lakefront afterwards

and possibly Edge Esmeralda.
