Welcome to the latest edition of In Correspondence! I’m writing from my home in Stockholm where I recently returned from a wonderful co-created retreat on the island of Ekskäret.

What I’ve been up to
I was a co-creator of Elevate 2024: Hibernate on the beautiful Ekskäret in the Stockholm Archipelago
I celebrated my 39th birthday at the new Emerge Lakefront property in Sköndal
I spent a few days in Barcelona where after more than a decade I returned to the inspiring Can Masdeu
I attended the EA Sweden Annual Meeting Weekend 2024 where my favourite session was on Cooperative AI
I spoke to Tucker Walsh about Community Weaving on the Illuminating Life podcast
I’m looking forward to watching the recordings from the d/acc Discovery Day at Devcon.
What I’ve been reading/watching
I read Right Story, Wrong Story by Tyson Yunkaporta and started What We Owe the Future by William MacAskill
I’m really appreciating Daniel Kazandjian’s podcast where I watched Jhanas, Awakening and Vasocomputation with Michael Johnson and A gentle introduction to Qualia Research with Andres Goméz-Emilsson
I watched several of the touching Something Beautiful for the World short films, a collaboration between Reflections of Life, Campfire Stories and Happen Films “exploring how small acts of kindness have the potential to ripple out and change the world”
