In Correspondence #11
Dear friends,
I hope you are keeping well. I’m hosting an online meetup by donation for readers of this newsletter on Wednesday 6th May, 6pm – 7pm. Register here
Autopia is now Dandelion
The not-for-profit company behind the Psychedelic Society has been renamed from PsychedelicsUK Ltd to Dandelion Collective Ltd, and we are in final stages of registering Dandelion Collective as a worker co-op with Coops UK.
In addition to the Psychedelic Society, Dandelion Collective will host a number of other projects, including what was Autopia and is now simply called Dandelion (at dandelion.earth), a mapping-focused social and events platform.
I’m the lead developer (yep, amongst other things, I’m a Ruby developer ☺️). It’s been my main lockdown project and I’m feeling really pleased with it. Soon we’ll be encouraging all 65,000 supporters of Psychedelic Society to start using it to connect with people locally. Check out the Psychedelic Society organisation on Dandelion for a sneak peek and get in touch if you’d like to use it as your ticketing or organising platform.
What else I’ve been up to
I hosted an excellent panel discussion with Alex Grey & Allyson Grey, Rick Doblin, Françoise Bourzat, Sam Gandy, Bia Labate and Dr. Gail Bradbrook for the Sacred Solidarity online festival on Bicycle Day (starts around 18:09)
I’ve been paying more attention to my dreams
I recorded a cover of Red Mouth by Boe Huntress
I published the Temple Nights #1 playlist for a deep and/or sexy evening
I’m looking forward to the Wilds Beyond Climate Justice gathering featuring Bayo Akomolafe, Charles Eisenstein, Alnoor Ladha and many others, 31 May – 4 June
